The rig adopts a full hydraulic drive system using an axial piston pump combined with auxiliary gear pumps to ensure smooth power transmission and efficient hydraulic output. The power head features a mechanical two-speed stepless speed regulation design, enabling precise adjustment of rotary speed and torque to match different rock formations. A lateral translation mechanism on the power head simplifies drill rod lifting and lowering, improving operational efficiency and safety.

With an oblique piston motor providing high power density in a compact structure, the rig achieves strong drilling capability without increasing overall machine size.
